Sonic Process' 1 Year Anniversary

It's been a year already! Wow, how time flies... I never thought it could have lasted this long. What started out as a hobby of mine turned into full-fledged mp3 blog that I'm actually proud of. Thank you all for keep visiting in ever increasing numbers, without you this blog would have died long ago.

I hope you have enjoyed listening to some of these albums as much as I did. They reflect the music I like to listen to and discover, and even if came to regret some of the albums that were posted here in the past, most of them were very enjoyable to my ears. I will make a round-up of some of my personal favourites before the year's end, in order to make sure you don't miss some of the finest sounds 2007 had to offer.

To commemorate this one-year anniversary, and with Christmas approaching and all that, I will be running a competition. This will start sometime in the near future (when I actually get the time to post it), but I can already say that it will be in the form of a special kind of musical "blind test": given that a one-track blind test would be simply too easy, this one will consist of a single track, where two separate tracks are mixed together and played at the same time to hopefully form one cohesive composite track. The first one to correctly identify the two mixed tracks (artists + track titles), both of which have already been posted here, will win a 25 Euro (~37 US dollar) gift voucher to spend at his/her preferred online music shop! Stay tuned, I will announce the starting date and time for the competition in the near future.

I take this opportunity to reach out for anyone wanting to contribute to this site with their own posts. If you have some time to kill, and you would like to promote some of the artists you like, then do get in touch. Absolutely no pre-requisites are needed other than a passion for music. Basic teaching on blogging can be arranged if necessary, and I will do my best to provide any download links you may request. Anyone interested should send me an e-mail:
